Text Messages Released in New Smyrna Beach Police Department Investigation with Officer Devin Blissette, former Volusia deputy.
The findings were unfounded.
The events within the text messages were reported to the city and any violations were unfounded. The messages are between two familar with the officer and one believed to be the victim. The city redacted the names due to the alleged claim of the victim, despite it being unfounded.
